Park Entrance Fee
. The Texas State Park entrance fee is $ per person per day.

Please note: Individuals are responsible for paying their own park entrance fees at the Ranger Station when they arrive at the park. The park entrance fee is separate from any Mountain Madness course fees.

Starting April 1, 2005 the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) began requiring all authorized guide services who hold a contract with TPWD to collect a $10 per person, per day fee for guided use of the park. The guided use fee is included in our prices. See each class description to view pricing for that class.

Where and When to Meet
. Meet us at 8:15 Saturday morning in the main campground parking lot just past the campsite bathrooms (take a left after the bridge). Look for the Mountain of Gear! We hike out of the parking lot promptly, so be on time. You don't wanna get left behind.

Please note: All students must register their vehicles at the Ranger Station prior to class. Saturday morning arrivals can check in with the Rangers between 8:00 - 8:15.

Also note, please don't feed the bears or abuse the park rangers. (Okay, there are no bears.)

Saturday Night Dinner - Dutch Treat
. The Mountain Madness staff has for years carpooled into nearby Frederickburg for dinner on Saturday evening with the class. What better way to top off a day of climbing than swapping tall tales of the day's adventures over a hot meal?

Bring $ for dinner and your Saturday night duds. You might be pleasantly surprised to discover that your grungy, sweaty climbing partner cleans up nice.

Campers
. We have reserved campsites for many of the weekend classes at Enchanted Rock. Friday night arrivals may claim our group sites at the park headquarters. (After 5:00 PM, the campsite locations are posted on the bulletin board.) Students share campsites.

Campsites are located near the parking lot within easy walking distance. The campground has a centralized bathroom with showers. Each campsite features a picnic table, fire pit and cooking grill. Water spigots are located near the parking lot.

If you prefer to reserve a personal campsite for yourself or your group, call Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reservations at 512-389-8900.

Medical or Physical Conditions
. Help us make this one of your most memorable and enjoyable experiences. If you have a medical or physical condition (such as asthma, allergic reactions, a recent injury or surgery, etc) that may need attention during the course of the weekend, please advise us in writing so we may accommodate you in whatever manner is appropriate.
