Limestone Madness
Introduction to Sport Climbing
Experience sport climbing Texas-style and rope up for new and classic routes at Reimer's Ranch, rated from 5.5 to 5.10. Located west of Austin along the Pedernales River, Reimer's Ranch is a spring-fed oasis, complete with huge cypress trees, delicate ferns, and the biggest handholds this side of El Paso. No camping is available at the crag, but Pace Bend Park is nearby for those with a tent; Austin is close for those with a hankering for some nightlife.
If you want to become a real Limestone Cowboy, round up a few "pardners" and give us a ride. Even if you've only climbed a little, we guarantee you'll spend much more than 8 seconds in the saddle, er, harness.
Note: Daily admission to Reimers Ranch is $5 per person
