Spectacular Enchanted Rock State Natural Area in Texas sets the stage for our weekend classes. Each weekend class is designed as a two-day adventure, while providing the fundamental skills needed to climb at the recommended skill level for your class.


Mountain Madness
 
Classic Crack Climbs

Intermediate Crack Climbing

Hooked on cracks? This two-day class will concentrate entirely on mastering the art of crack climbing. Climb some of the most popluar classic crack routes of Enchanted Rock as well as some out-of-the way gems.

Students in this class will learn to jam like pros and pull on burly lay-back cracks, like the legendary routes Middle Crack and Fear of Flying. Students will also get hands-on instruction on making tape gloves to protect their hands from the merciless granite of ERock.

Pre-requisite: Climbing 1 or demonstrated ability to climb 5.8+ and harder on natural rock. Students must be able to belay using traditional belay equipment, such as 8-Rings and ATCs. Minimum class size of three required.
Course fee: (Includes climbing instruction, climbing gear, and
$10 daily TPWD guided user fee)
