Mountain Madness is the only climbing school in Texas to be fully Accredited by the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA)!  The AMGA has examined our entire program and climbing history top to bottom and found Mountain Madness worthy of full Accreditation.  This puts Mountain Madness in a small and elite group of 33 of the top climbing schools in the United States!

1. Mountain Madness is the oldest and most experienced climbing school in Texas.  We have taught over 17,000 people to climb since 1986 and are a fully insured concession guide service recommennded by the state of Texas.
2. Scott Harris, owner and founder, is the most experienced guide in Texas and a guide book author to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

3. The Guide Staff at Mountain Madness is the most experienced in Texas.  All five of our senior guides are Certified AMGA Single Pitch Instructors.  Many of our instructors are teachers.  Working with kids is a specialty of ours!

 

To Reserve Your Class

Sure, we could do a PayPal thing or have a direct payment page on our website but we think it’s important that you call us when you sign up so that you know who we are and we know who you are.  After all, you’re looking for a climbing instructor, not ordering that perfect tie for dad on Father’s Day :)

So to reserve a class simply call us at (512) 590-2988 with your credit card information.  We don’t charge your card until just before your class - it holds your place in line.  We answer the phone from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and if we’re out guiding just leave a message and your digits and we’ll get right back to you.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your class up until 5:00 pm two days prior and receive a total refund.
