Enchanted Rock State Natural Area in Texas sets the spectacular stage for our weekend classes. Each weekend class is designed as a two-day adventure, while providing the fundamental skills needed to climb at the recommended skill level for your class.


Mountain Madness
Classes on Saturdays are from 8:15 am to 4 pm, and on Sundays from 8 am to 3 pm. Students typically enjoy 5 hours of actual climbing each day. In our two-day weekend classes, we carpool to Fredericksburg, Texas on Saturday night for dinner and a chance to swap tall climbing tales.
Class Descriptions, Fees, & Schedules
Rock Climbing 1-A Introduces basic climbing techniques and safety instruction for beginning climbers.
Rock Climbing 1-B Same climbing fundamentals as Climbing 1-A, with the addition of rappelling on Sunday.
Rock Climbing 2 Intermediate-level course designed to hone skills learned in Climbing 1 and push your limits on more challenging routes.
Girls Rock Designed by women for women. Learn to integrate female bio-mechanics with superb climbing technique.
Anchor Classes Comprehensive top rope instruction. Learn to set safe top-rope anchors.
Girls Jam Intermediate to advanced crack climbing for women, designed to help women tackle crack climbing with grace.
Limestone Madness Introduction to Sport Climbing, Texas-style at Reimer's Ranch west of Austin along the Pedernales River.
Classic Cracks Intermediate Crack Climbing - concentrate on mastering the art of crack climbing.
Advanced Climbing Challenges the more experienced climber to ascend hard cracks and scale vertical face climbs with really tiny, gnarly holds.
Lead Climbing Teaches the fundamentals of lead climbing in a safe and controlled environment.
Private Lessons One-day classes customized to fit individual skill levels.
Group Lessons The ideal team-building vehicle for your church, scouting or corporate group.
